02-07-2010 - Interview The Antidote

When the 5th epidemic is raging, you will have need for an antidote. Enter The Antidote. A DJ with a refined taste in the harder sound. Together with Miss Twilight from the United States he will make sure the Containment Zone will start off with a bang.

How did you respond when you found out you were asked to perform at Ground Zero?
I reacted very enthusiastic, I am glad to be present again this year as I was last year at Ground Zero. Last year was a great success and I have enjoyed it a lot. This year I will again perform together with Miss Twilight, which promises to be a good starter.

What can the people expect from your set?
Awesome tracks which will prepare you for an awesome night. We will do our best to set the tone right, because it is that difficult to be opening an awesome festival such as Ground Zero. I just can’t say anything more, I would like to tell everyone to be early at the festival so you can hear the set of Miss Twilight and me, but especially to feel it!

The theme of this year is The 5th Epidemic. How can people survive this epidemic?
What was the 4th epidemic then like? Apparently I have survived that one too.

Are there any other artists you definitely want to check out at Ground Zero?
Definitely, international artists like Dr. Macabre, Placid K, Matt Green and Radium. I have much respect for these artists, those artists you don’t see that often in the Netherlands.

What are your plans for the rest 2010?
I spend a lot of time in the studio together with DJ Shock, together we produce lots of tracks which I will also be playing at Ground Zero. We’re also busy organizing our own events which takes most of the time momentarily.

THE ANTIDOTE will be performing together with MISS TWILIGHT in the CONTAINMENT ZONE.
