MC D has been active as an MC since way back in 1993. He has been part of all the big parties both national and international. For four years at Ground Zero, he has added his unique vocal talents to bring several DJ sets to that extra level. This year, MC D will definitely be part of the party again. Something he himself can’t wait for.

How did you respond when you found out you were asked to perform at Ground Zero?
It will be the fourth time for me to be performing at Ground Zero. Each time it was a surprise to receive the booking for such a big festival. You can never assume that you will be booked again, so I’m mostly very proud to be asked to come back again.

What can the people expect from your set?
Since I will be hosting the early rave area and will be present there all night long, it’s important to use the proper dosage. No one is waiting for an MC to blabbing his mouth of all night long. What you can expect from me is that I will by paying close attention to both the DJ and the crowd, pick the right moment to add an extra dimension to the party. To be a true asset.

The theme of this year is The 5th Epidemic. How can people survive this epidemic?
By going to the source, there you will find an antidote. So the only way to survive is by heading off to Ground Zero.

Are there any other artists you definitely want to check out at Ground Zero?
I’m in a really crazy area and there definitely are some early acts I wouldn’t want to miss. Buzz Fuzz & Dano is something you cannot miss. DJ Paul & Lars won’t be no joke either. And the whole different sound of Manu le Malin and Dr Macabre really speaks to me as well.

What are your plans for the rest 2010?
In the fall I will be organizing my own event again. Next to that I’m taking on some bookings that could be fun and I will be hitting the road with my man DJ Vince of course. Other than that do a lot of fun stuff. And for 2011 I’m hoping to be asked to return to Ground Zero once again.
