The DJ collective Enzyme X stands for hard, rough and uncompromising hardcore. All CD and vinyl releases are limited available. And there are few places to see Enzyme X spinning their records this summer. But also in the Containment Zone at Ground Zero, Enzyme X will perform like no other can; setting the roof on fire.
What were your first thoughts on the request to perform at Ground Zero Festival?
Ground Zero is an unique event on the festival calendar. In terms of line-up and theme it differs from the other big festivals. The dark theme fits perfectly to the music of Enzyme X. This is why we are glad we can present our music at Ground Zero!
What can people expect from your performance at Ground Zero?
Enzyme X strives to deliver differentiated sets with lots of own productions. Do not expect mainstream orientated tracks, but raw and pounding hardcore!
The theme of this year is the 5th Epidemic. How can people best survive an epidemic?
I think a real epidemic is inescapable. So I think it is best to enjoy life as long as there is no epidemic. A good way is to just go visit Ground Zero and enjoy the music!
Are there other artists you don’t want to miss at Ground Zero?
The time table is not yet released. If it is possible we will definitely visit Ruffneck, Rude Awakening, D-Passion & The Outside Agency!
What have you planned for the rest of 2010?
We have released all Enzyme X tracks on CD (Component 1 and 2) this year. So everyone has already had the chance to buy the old productions in CD quality. Very soon, the whole collection will be available online at junodownload and trackitdown. So it’s time for new music! Luckily, Enzyme X has been active and will release a new track after the summer!
ENZYME X will be performing in the CONTAINMENT ZONE.
